I dreamed of you last night

A roudy room filled with family & friends

There you were

Baguettes and wine being tossed from one person to the next

Laughter filling every corner of the room

There you were

The cause of the ruckus, of all the laughter, of all the shouting

A milestone being celebrated

There you were

Chair legs broken from peoples stirring, no moment still

Arms in the air, living rich without a care

There you were

And now, I stand in that same big room cold, empty and motionless

Not a body in sight

I look to the left of me and turn to my right

Nothing - Nothing but echoes of my gentle sighs

That dream was just a dream, a bitter blur

I turn my back to walk away and in my mind
